Joseph attended Forest Park Elementary School before moving on to The Anthony School for middle school. Now a sophomore at Catholic High School for Boys, he runs on both the track and cross-country teams and competes on the Robotics team. He jokes, “I’ve probably run more laps than anyone in my grade—and I’m still chasing that personal best!”

Joseph’s love of kickball grew into something bigger when he heard that Matt, who ran the Sunday kickball program at Anthony, was moving. Seeing a chance to keep the program alive and share the fun with more kids, Joseph stepped up and took over. He now organizes games, manages teams, coordinates schedules, and recruits volunteers to make sure every player has a fun and safe experience. Joseph says, “Why just play kickball when you can run the whole thing?”

At Catholic, Joseph balances academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities with a focus that surprises his friends—though he admits, “Sometimes I show up to practice and wonder why I signed up for this!” Known for his drive, curiosity, and sense of humor, Joseph has become a familiar presence among teammates and classmates alike.
